Nyaz Didehbani, Ph.D.

Nyaz Didehbani, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist and an Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in neuropsychological assessment, with a primary interest in examining individuals with sports-related concussion and neurocognitive disorders. 
She serves on the Executive Board of the Sports Neuropsychology Society and is Co-Chair of the Social and Cultural Equity in Sports Committee and Social Media committee for SNS. She also serves as the Chair for the Women in Leadership committee of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and is a Delegate for the Cultural Neuropsychology Counsel. 
Dr. Didehbani’s current research focuses on both acute and longitudinal effects of mild traumatic brain injury in youth athletes to the aging effects of TBI. She has published in numerous academic journals with 3 book chapters on TBI and presented both nationally and internationally on the impact of TBI.
